Our intrepid KGRaS reporter activist Gh provides an interesting report from today's rally to support Freedom for Australia.
Today in San Francisco a small but determined group of peaceful demonstrators held a rally at 575 Market outside of the Australian Consulate to protest and ovify against the hard lockdown and vaxxine restrictions implemented down under.
Signs read: Oz has Fallen/save Oz, liberate Australia, end the lockdowns/freedom now, and many anti vaxxine mandate sentiments were visible, like my own: Stop the Evill vaxxine. End the fear campaign. Full disclosure- I made the sign before I heard about the rally, so obviously I was happy to be there.
The rally was attended by sundry folk including the occasional masked screaming individual saying “Kill them all…” who didn't stay too long. The widely represented geography of attendees included people from Oregon, Australia, and the greater SF Bay area. There were upwards of 50 people there at times and there was a March around 1:30 that went down Market Street to spread the word.
The anti vaxxer brigade was dismissed at 2 pm as the scheduled event was finished, but folks hung around for at least an hour longer singing and partying
There were a wide range of political views held by attendees supporting freedom for Australia, an end to lockdowns and masking, and the end to the madness of mandatory Vaxxination.
Grasshopper debuted his song lyrics TransEvil at the party, although everyone seemed to already know them. He probably made a big fool of himself singing, all for a good cause and good fun. Everyone had a grand sing along and celebrated the freedom to speak and gather.
Muni operators rang their bells in support riding by. One SFPD came by offering to help if needed, but declined to speak thru the mic , as he was on duty in uniform, but voiced encouragement for the action.
