Cognitive double blind bind, Russia, Victory day 78 years later
Report from the far reaches of dissonance
Greetings to all my dear readers, a couple of photos from Red Square today, above, from the en.Kremlin.ru
http://en.kremlin.ru/events/president/news/71104
There are lots more photos I wanted to post , well, two more, but the substack was flashing red so I settled for half the ones I'd selected to share with you.
I want to discuss Putin's speech, but first I am gonna read it, although I have heard others discuss it, the other cite I'd found of it was klunky in the English, whereas the official release ought to satisfy my need to know something like what he actually said before commenting…
Above link to the speech is a reasonable English translation, I guess.
You know, Russia is fighting a war of attrition that the West has been losing.
So our fearful leaders double down to steal Russian resources and the sad result is that they are gonna send yet another billion, because ….the debt ceiling and wonderful benevolence of, and democracy for — folks in America, wars for all the rest…
Putin cited the Arrogance and Russophobia of the West I've been suffering under, and I just wonder,
What if….America didn't hate Russia.?
I know I get tired of being hated, how many others in the Russian diaspora feel the same?
My own mother didn't want me to have any Russian accent and told me not to trust Russians, but I didn't even hardly know any others…
So, as Garland Nixon states, they fostered this Nazi ideology in the West, just to be able to infiltrate Ukraine, going on seven decades or more…
So know we got this double blind bind, so blinded by our own false premises and manipulation that it is unfathomable to so many that there is a different truth to be told, as Putin's speech enumerates….

Speech by the President of Russia at the military parade
President of Russia Vladimir Putin: Citizens of Russia,
Dear veterans,
Comrade soldiers and sailors, sergeants and warrant officers, midshipmen and sergeant majors,
Comrade officers, generals and admirals,
Soldiers and commanders participating in the special military operation,
Happy Victory Day!
Happy holiday that commemorates the honour of our fathers, grandfathers and great-grandfathers who glorified and immortalised their names by defending our Fatherland. They saved the humankind from Nazism through immeasurable courage and immense sacrifice.
Today, our civilisation is at a crucial turning point. A real war is being waged against our country again but we have countered international terrorism and will defend the people of Donbass and safeguard our security.
For us, for Russia, there are no unfriendly or hostile nations either in the west or in the east. Just like the vast majority of people on the planet, we want to see a peaceful, free and stable future.
We believe that any ideology of superiority is abhorrent, criminal and deadly by its nature. However, the Western globalist elites keep speaking about their exceptionalism, pit nations against each other and split societies, provoke bloody conflicts and coups, sow hatred, Russophobia, aggressive nationalism, destroy family and traditional values which make us human. They do all that so as to keep dictating and imposing their will, their rights and rules on peoples, which in reality is a system of plundering, violence and suppression.
They seem to have forgotten what the Nazis’ insane claims of global dominance led to. They forgot who destroyed that monstrous, total evil, who stood up for their native land and did not spare their lives to liberate the peoples of Europe.
We see how in certain countries they ruthlessly and cold-bloodedly destroy memorials to Soviet soldiers, demolish monuments to great commanders, create a real cult of the Nazis and their proxies, erase and demonise the memory of true heroes. Such profanation of the feat and sacrifices of the victorious generation is also a crime, an outright revanchism on the part of those who were cynically and blatantly preparing a new march on Russia and who brought together neo-Nazi scum from around the world for this.
Their goal – and there is nothing new about it – is to break apart and destroy our country, to make null and void the outcomes of World War II, to completely break down the system of global security and international law, to choke off any sovereign centres of development.
Boundless ambition, arrogance and impunity inevitably lead to tragedies. This is the reason for the catastrophe the Ukrainian people are going through. They have become hostage to the coup d’état and the resulting criminal regime of its Western masters, collateral damage in the implementation of their cruel and self-serving plans.
The memory of defenders of the Fatherland is sacred for us in Russia, and we cherish it in our hearts. We give credit to members of the Resistance who bravely fought Nazism as well as the troops of the allied armies of the United States, Great Britain and other countries. We remember and honour the feat of Chinese soldiers in the fight against Japanese militarism.
I strongly believe that the experience of solidarity and partnership during the years of fighting a common threat is our invaluable heritage and a secure foothold now when the unstoppable movement is gaining momentum towards a more just multipolar world, a world based on the principles of trust and indivisible security, of equal opportunities for a genuine and free development of all nations and peoples.
It is crucial that leaders of the Commonwealth of Independent States have gathered here in Moscow today. I see it as appreciation of the feat of our ancestors: they fought and won together since all the peoples of the USSR contributed to our common Victory.
We will always remember that. We bow our heads in cherished memory of those who lost their lives during the war, the memory of sons, daughters, fathers, mothers, grandfathers, husbands, wives, sisters and friends.
I declare a minute of silence.
(A minute of silence.)
Citizens of Russia,
The battles that were decisive for our Motherland always became patriotic, national and sacred. We are faithful to our ancestors’ legacy and have a deep and clear awareness of what it means to be up to the mark of their military, labour and moral achievements.
We take pride in the participants in the special military operation, all those fighting on the frontlines, those who deliver supplies to the front and save the wounded under fire. Your combat activities now are of paramount importance. The country’s security depends on you today as does the future of our statehood and our people. You commendably perform your combat duty fighting for Russia. Your families, children and friends stand behind you. They are waiting for you. I am sure you can feel their unfailing love.
The entire country has united to support our heroes. Everyone is ready to help, everyone prays for you.
Comrades, friends, dear veterans,
Today, every family in our country honours Great Patriotic War participants, remembers their family members and their heroes, and lays flowers to military memorials.
We are standing on Red Square, a place which remembers retainers of Yury Dolgoruky and Dmitry Donskoy, the people’s militia of Minin and Pozharsky, soldiers of Peter the Great and Kutuzov, the military parades of 1941 and 1945.
Today we have here participants in the special military operation – regular servicemen and those who joined the army ranks during the partial mobilisation, troops of the Lugansk and Donetsk corps, many volunteer units, personnel of the National Guard, Interior Ministry, Federal Security Service, Emergencies Ministry and other security agencies and services.
My greetings to all of you, friends. My greetings to everyone who is fighting for Russia in the battlefield, who is now in the line of duty.
Our heroic ancestors proved during the Great Patriotic War that nothing can beat our strong, powerful and reliable unity. There is nothing stronger than our love for the Motherland.
For Russia! For our glorious Armed Forces! For Victory!
Hooray!

So what is it about? Why did the Anglo-Saxon Arrogant West commandeer the various elements of the fascist regime? simple stated, what makes we Americans think we are so great? Now, i think a lot of folks in America are incredible. The folks who ain’t got nothing, but will share the smile they muster for you, e.g., with you.
But my basic question/ quandary is, knowing (or did we forget ?) that fascist totalitarianism tends to end up eating its own, after going for the rest of the world first. So i hear.
How did America think we can subvert the concept of superiority for ourselves, or inferiority of others, to be used in Ukraine and elsewhere as a battering ram against Russia, my place of birth, to get Slavic folks to war with others of the same ethnicity? What is with this trying to cancel Russian language and culture? Prior to the scamdemic, we’d never seen such a collective, conducted, instructed, coerced effort to get on group of folks against another, to this scale , for some time., at least since Iraq or Vietnam , maybe never.
Post pandemic, sure , it doesn’t seem as extraordinary , after the world was turned into a jail with many of her people needleraped, maimed , and murdered, then the prior sprung coup from 2014, ramped up to denigrate anything Russian, went as wild as we’d ever seen it.
Was it Brian Berletic of The New Atlas speaking with Garland Nixon? that said the same sentiment i have come to? That war against others, hegemony, imperialism, Unitlateral “rules - based” [? gangster - based…?] imposition upon other nations by the Empire, any empire, requires that the inferiority of the subjugated be entrenched and firmly established, in the minds of the folks in the nation of the Empire, so they won’t mind as much to have unnecesary wars seem inescapable, on the logic that we are “better-than” and others “lesser-than” and all the criminality that portends.
Without the racist Russophobia i’ve felt my whole life in America, which is most of it, there would not be the possibility of ignoring the efforts at a more peaceful security architecture the President of the largest land mass asked for.
If you consider others and fellow nations to be equals, to be honoured, rather than subjects to be controlled, how would one go to war against the other.?
and, how many homes for the ever rising houseless in America would the funds the Biden criminal cabal extorted , those neoscum necropheliacs, to give former Ukraine—have provided?
So my point is, i don’t know whose brilliance ideation to take any aspect of the Fascist Nazi remmants, stoke the flames, and create a Total bonfire, bolshoi, was that? Not my idea. And sure, Arrogant West thought we can control that, or put it out before it burns the whole world, but once again it is Russia that is actually gonna have to save the world from itself. Congratulations to all my fellow Russian peoples for faith in God and all that is Good in the world.
Sadly, someone in the halls of rank forgot that what one does to others tends to rebound home, so that is the double blind bind. By being fed enough lies, did we forget or never know other imperative truths?

from this last linked piece above,
Dmitri Kovalevich writes:
Some Ukrainians abroad speak out against NATO’s war course
In early April, realizing that many Ukrainians are being driven to the slaughter, some Ukrainian political migrants and refugees held an online All-Ukrainian People’s Veche (an old-Slavic term for a popular assembly). The assembly discussed and approved a ‘Declaration of Protection of the Ukrainian People’. It is published on the website Narodgov.org (‘Truth Ukraine’). (The website has an English translation; the Ukrainian language version is here). Ukrainian citizens can vote from anywhere in the world using their passport as proof of citizenship of Ukraine. It terms their vision of Ukraine as “multinational”.
The declaration has been signed by dissenting Ukrainians, including journalists who have fled to Russia for their own safety. It is steeped in the anti-fascist tradition of Soviet Ukraine. It envisions the delegitimization of Zelensky and his regime and calls for the renunciation of debts accumulated by Ukrainian governments to the IMF, the European Union and the U.S. since 2014. As of this writing in late April 2023, more than five million Ukrainians have voted online. Online voting is to continue until June 1.
The declaration’s preamble reads: “We, the multinational people of Ukraine, proceed from the fact that all people are equal and endowed with inalienable rights. Among such rights are the right to life, liberty, security of person, happiness, and others. States and governments are created by human beings to secure these rights. If any form of government becomes detrimental to these rights, the people are within their rights to change it, or to abolish it altogether and establish new forms of government.”
The authors of the declaration suggest re-founding the Ukrainian state on a new basis, namely, a on the basis of social justice. This implies writing off all the debts accumulated during the time of illegitimate government (since 2014), and incurred on behalf of both Ukrainian citizens and the country’s institutions.
Orthodox Church of Ukraine targeted
In April, attacks continued in Ukraine against the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, which is accused of having close links with the Russian Orthodox Church, even though it is formally an independent organization.
Following this, an MP from Zelensky’s party, Nikita Poturaev, proposed banning all religious organizations that in one way or another have numerous adherents in Russia. This would apply to Buddhists, Muslims, and the shamanistic cults of the indigenous peoples of Siberia and the Arctic. Nikita Poturaev said that a bill to this effect was being prepared and will apply to Muslim organizations as well as to Buddhists and exotic religions as shamanism.
Earlier, the same MP, who is part of Zelensky’s ‘Servant of the People’ party, became famous for lobbying aggressively for an agricultural land market in Ukraine to privatize land and “finally bury communism” and “settle scores with Lenin and Stalin”. Subsequently, the IMF began demanding an open land market in Ukraine, in order to privatize the vast land holdings still owned and operated by the Ukrainian state or cooperative associations.

Okay, a day late, 25 dollars short, i bring the report circumstances prevented me from finishing yesterday, thank you for indulging my writing with your attention.
oh, i found this one too…
https://libya360.wordpress.com/2023/05/10/pakistan-rocked-by-protests-following-the-arrest-of-imran-khan/
Protesters set fire to buildings in various parts of the country. There have been reports of deaths during the protests though the exact toll is not clear yet. The Pakistani newspaper Dawn reported that three people had been killed in the city of Peshawar. Other reports mentioned four deaths in various cities. Over 1,000 people have been arrested in Punjab province alone
The army has been deployed in the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces. Internet services have been suspended in the country.
On Tuesday, protesters forced into the General Headquarters of the Pakistani army in Rawalpindi, chanting slogans against the government. In Lahore, the residence of the Corps Commander was attacked.
In the early hours of Wednesday, protestors set fire to the central secretariat of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) party.
Senior leader and secretary general of the Pakistan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, Asad Umar, was arrested at the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday, May 10.
The political crisis in the country took a dramatic turn on Tuesday after Imran Khan was arrested from the IHC premises by paramilitary forces. Khan, 70, was present at the court for a hearing in one of the graft cases against him. The Islamabad police later released a statement saying that Khan had been arrested in relation to the Al Qadir Trust case.
Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi, who head the Al Qadir Trust, are accused of accepting a sum of PKR 5 billion during Khan’s tenure as prime minister (2018-2022) in exchange for whitewashing PKR 50 (US$ 0.18) billion that was channeled back by the UK government to Pakistan in relation to this case.
The Al Qadir Trust case is one of the several cases of corruption laid against Khan.
Footage of Khan’s arrest shows paramilitary rangers grabbing him by the collar as he is pushed into a police van outside the IHC premises. Sharing the video, PTI’s Twitter handle said, “Rangers abducted PTI Chief Imran Khan, these are the visuals. Pakistan’s brave people must come out and defend their country.”
The US of Arrogance and its English speaking friends seem to have nothing but the ability to dominate and subjugate the world on its menu, but the restaurant is a slaughter house, a meat grinder for polite company… in which many no longer wish to be forced to eat — such junkie food and junkie idealology.
have we no God? for the sake of our whole planet, i hope the _________ Americans love their children too, and assuming as i believe we all do love all our children, how are we gonna stop this Ff$hocking aggression before we blow the whole world up?
only Love will save us, but a little sanity would go a long way as a start for now, and eventually God-willing , then Love may follow, and be allowed to exist.
Blessings to all my dear readers, thank you again.
flowers for Mom from Kitten…
